upgrade with mbr

dear friends;
i want upgrade the activated sludge process with remove secondary clarifier and use submerge MBR but plant have two parallel aeration tank with surface aerators and max height is 3.3m. is it possible to remove the surface aerator and run with diffusers with low depth and install submerge MBR in aeration tank, max capacity is 800m3/day.
