The HERA Group is the italian national leader in the energy, water and environmental industries, has almost 6,000 employees and operates in the provinces of Bologna, Ravenna, Rimini, Forlì-Cesena, Ferrara and, since 2006 Modena as well.

Hera serves a user base of over 2.5 million inhabitants (943,000 gas customers, 2,239,000 water customers and 2,433,000 environment customers), distributes over 2.2 billion cubic meters of gas and 234 million cubic meters of water, and disposes of 1.5 million tons of urban waste.

The company has been publicly traded since June 2003, and since then the share has exhibited growth of approximately 85%, one of the highest in the industry.
